The structure and operation principle of the choke and kill line unit:
- The mobile device is connected through the QCDC to the choke and kill line unit.
- The well-killing liquid is pumped into the well from the mobile device through the choke and kill line unit.
- The butterfly valve No. 2 prevents the liquid from returning.
The choke and kill line unit is shut off from the well with the valve No. 2. The working medium pressure is determined with the PG pressure gauge. There is also a drainage through the ball valve No. 3.
The warranty period is 18 (eighteen) months as from the date of commissioning, but no more than 24 (twenty-four) months as from the date of delivery.
The choke and kill line unit can be transported by road, rail or sea (river) in accordance with the current rules of transportation for the particular type of transport.
Regarding the climatic factors, the unit can be transported as per group 8 of GOST 15150-69. Regarding physical impact factors, the transportation standard is GOST 23170-78.
Before transporting dismantle and secure all the removable parts of the choke and kill line unit as per instructions of this Operation Manual.
Only serviceable packages with intact lifting lugs are allowed for transportation.The choke and kill line unit shall be loaded onto the vehicle by means of cranes of suitable lifting capacity, equipped with lifting and pulling devices.
The choke and kill line unit is allowed to be lifted only using the elements designed for lifting.
Otherwise lifting of the choke and kill line unit is prohibited.
The choke and kill line unit shall be secured in the vehicles in accordance with the handling and securing specifications for each type of transport.
